The 19th great-grandson and 21st generation descendant of Hazreti Mevlana Jelaluddin Bâqır Chelebi was remembered on the 14^th anniversary of his reunion with Allah in prayers by his daughter Esin Chelebi Bayru, and by Mevlevi friends and loved ones.

Following the asr prayer, the loved ones gathered at his grave site where journalist İhsan Kayseri gave a short speech about the life of Jelaluddin Bâqır Chelebi.  The director of Sümam Nuri Şimsekler and Pôst-neshîn Mustafa Holat also gave a short speech and remembered Chelebi with both gratitude and compassion.  Lastly, Esin Celebi Bayru gave a speech and thanked those who came to the gathering to share in his rememberance.

The commemoration at his grave site concluded with a Qur’an recitation and a Mevlevi prayer.

Jelaluddin M. Bâqir Chelebi passed away in Istanbul on April 13^th 1996 and was buried in Konya. We commemorate the 14^th anniversary of Jelaluddin Bâqır Chelebi's reunion with Allah with both gratitude and compassion.
